that is a common problem caused by the lack of fresh air in the freezer. if possible, remove all contents and wash with baking soda and water. after replacing contents, put a couple of boxes of arm & hammer refrigerator baking soda in the freezer. replace with fresh every month or 2 and you will not have the fishy smell
