crown moldin

need a quick lesson on crown mold...i kno w my angles,degrees have a compund mitre saw that i love useing& do finish work very well,but i came across a litlle project that i had a brain fart on & could'nt do it,ceiling lite 11''X5'',with crown mold,i couldnt figure it out cuttin @ a 45,then tryin 22.5to the short point then my longs were way off etc.any advise,do u need a had copeing saw for inside corners?im going2 do a large room,very rectangle but with inside corners,naturally,b ut i need some ,perhapes tips!
