It might be shot. I can't hold up on the light because the fan is very high off the ground. What is odd is that when I turn the dimmer to the full on side the humm stops. When it is on the lower side, it humms. The problem is I don't want to use it on high, it goes way too fast, but don't want to hear it humm on slow. If the humm does stop, than I imagine a 3 speed witch will fix it.
