You know, If Bob Vila was a stand up guy, as a spokesman for Sears, he would go to bat to get these Maytag Neptune washers replaced (which I wouldn't do) or get you your money back (which I WOULD do). Sears sells and services these defective machines and they should be pulling all of them off the showroom floor until Maytag finally gets their act together and fixes the ones they thrust on an unsuspecting consumer and finally engineers a product that stands up to their once proud reputation. They could again get this reputation back by doing the right thing by those who patronized them in the past and purchased these machines. They wouldn't need lawyers to defend them and would regain our respect.
