Would like advice on what to use to treat rough oak wood with to provide the longest lasting protection. The deck extends out into a small pond, and was recently built. Consumer reports recently rated deck stains and Cabot Deck Stain (opaque) rated the highest. While they did not rate CWF products, I am told it is also good. What do you suggest?
