Is it common for dark color paints (Navy blue in this case) to have extensive burnishing? I painted a week ago (interior) with a satin finish and if you merely touch the wall with your hand, it leaves a mark. It looks almost like chalking. I tried to wipe it off with a damp cloth, but then I ended up with blue tint on my towel, like the paint washed off. Is the paint still curing and if so, how long does this take. I've been painting around the house for over 20 years, with good success, so I don't think it is anything I'm doing. This is my first experience w/ dark color.
