They sell a water powered backup sump pump called Basepump that is mounted on the ceiling above the sump. There is no battery to wear out or maintain and it is a powerful, reliable unit. In addition to this, they have installation kits, water alarms, etc. In situations where water pressure is low or you have well water, they make a battery backup sump pump called Hydropump that is mounted outside the sump on the floor next to it.
