Hi! I recently had a basement put under my home. And I extended out 10 feet to build rooms under a victorian porch.My problem is that I cannot find away to seal my porch floor so that my basement under will not leak.I have been told to put a concret cap over it but as everyone knows concret cracks.I have already but floor joists down and 4X8 sheets of tongue and groove.Then a sheet of rubber used for roofing then tried 1X4 porch floor but did not paint or prime 1X4's because of weather they are ruined.And they bowed up causing the nails to come out and causing leaks.I felt all of this was not a good solution anyway.So I am needing help because I can not go any futher tell I seal the porch for good.
