Painting Wallpaper

Generally I would say don't do it, but in a couple weeks I will be doing just that in a commercial building makeover. The vinyl has a light texture and it is on the wall tightly. I tried taking it off in one room and made a mess of the wall. So I will prime with Zinsser's Cover Stain (oil) and paint with a latex enamel. Just before priming, wipe down with a liquid deglosser. This will clean it and may improve adhesion.
