Cherie, this is one of the few times that I would suggest using the solvent, acetone, for removing Crazy Glue. The problem is that acetone is also the solvent for many finishing products of all kinds and will remove the finish on your saddle somewhat also. Refinishing will be necessary in any case and it sounds like there will be a fair amount of leather to do this on. Also, the oils in the leather should have acted to limit how well the glue stuck to the leather.

I would suggest that you start with acetone (or nail polish remover just for the test) and a rag to see how easily the glue residue is to get off. There are some other kinds of glue that may look similar so be sure that you have the right approach before you start the big project. Try working on one spot in a less obvious spot and see how well the acetone works. If you are happy with the way the acetone is working, you can get acetone in the paint department of home centers or other big box stores. Be sure for read and follow the instructions and safety precautions on the label. Acetone is flamable and possibly explosive if used incorrectly. Also, leave the rags that you use outside for a day or so and spread them out so that all the acetone evaporates before you bring the rags back inside.
