I want to paint over the peeling laminate on my bookcase and entertainment center. So far I've heard that sanding or using steel wool, then applying a water based coating, like Aqua Bond,(I'd like to avoid the highly flammable primers) is a good way to prep. Any other suggestions? Also, what type of paint should I use??
