I have a couple of pieces of furniture that I don't want to get rid of, but would like to recyle into another room of my house in a new color. I want to paint over it and it is not real wood. I am not sure if I can sand it or if I should prime it. I eventually want to paing it with that special undercoating that leaves the top coating left with an old crackled look.
The wood almost seems like a formica, but not quite.
