Hi, I am going to come into a purchase of some family land next to me. My grandfather built a house their in the earlie 70's. I have a mobile home next to it. I am thinking of remodeling the house and I will need to add another big addition on to it. I am still paying for my home and it is only 4 years old. Would it make more sense to take my home and attach it to the back side of the house and refinish the outside to hide the mobile home or rent my mobile home out and just add on another way? I will also have to tear out an old bathroom from the old house and a wall dividing the dining room and bedroom and make the kitchen bigger. On top of taking out the paneling ,insulation and replacing it and then I would like drywall put up and rewire the whole house. I do not have a clue how much it would cost to build a 4 bedroom 2 bath house with alot of room. I am trying to figure a simple solution. B/c I would rather live in a house than in a trailer. But my husband said he feels like waiting and building a house from the start and tearing down the other house. Help!!!!!!!! Also one other question. Both grandparents died from brain cancer and one dog died of cancer and the last dog I took in after my grandmothers death in december and I have been fighting lumps all over her. Do you thing their might be something in that house causing this ?
