and the glue failed under it .....it might be possible to "repair"........

Your Counter/cabinet man would be best to "ask" locally......

The repair usually involves heating the area and then weighting the counter flat or "pressing" the counter back flat......

OR injecting a thin epoxy thru a "borehole" and clamping in place.......
