I used a steam cleaner to remove the tint from my suburu. The steam turns the glue to mush, and the tint comes off in large pieces. The first window I steamed the tint, removed it and used a one-sided razor to remove the remaining glue. All the other windows, I steamed the tint enough to get it started then steamed directly on the window behind the tint. The force of the steam was enough to blast the glue onto the tint as it was being removed. I didn't even have to use a razor blade. This was particularly useful on the back window which contains defrost elements. Take care with your fingers though; the steam is hot.
