Easy solution. Don't by Ralph Lauren. The only thing going for them is the name, and name only! I have used RL Paints one time, and one time only. Between the cost and extra effort...Forget it! I use Behr at 21.00 per gallon, compared to RL at 35.00. Behr works great, with comparable colors. RL has copyrights on their colors, but Home Depot will match them very close. Benjamin Moore paints work just as well.
