Hobby Paint Booth

Posted by Dennis on July 2nd, 2004 08:43 AM

My hobby of model building requires the use of an airbrush for painting. I'm think of building an exhaust system to catch overspray and fumes to vent it outdoors. I have an old furnace squirrel cage and motor assembly. Obviously this will move way too much air so I'm trying to slow it down. I expect a normal rheostat will burn the motor windings.I wonder if a ceiling fan speed control will work with no damage?
