I am about to repaint the kitchen but noticed that the old paint that was on the drywall is peeling off in large chuncks easily around the edges of the wall and around the door ways. Basically it's coming off where the drywall was smoothed out with compound to cover up nails and such. This problem has carried over into my living room. Is this lack of paint adhesion in these areas normal?
