We have a new house [1 year old] we have a septic system. we have a stale water smell from the kitchen drain & the bathroom shower drain. I have had plumbers over several times they can smell the odor but can't determine the source. Could the traps be installed improperly? Is there any kind of tdreatment I can pour down drains, that is compatable with the septic system?
