recently i removed my toilet because it wobbled and discovered that the flange that holds the bolts for mounting the toilet had rustedand nolonger holds the bolts. the toilet now appears to be barely sitting on the flange because it is now slightly higher. would plumbers putty between my tile floor and toilet raise the toilet high enough to prevent the problem of wobbling. or is there a better cure.
