Removing grout from unsealed terrazzo mosaic tiles

We have a house built in 1913 with an original mosaic terrazo front porch. Recently we had some repair work done to fill cracks, etc. Unfortunately, workmen applied grout over the entire porch and we now have a white haze and grout residue over the terrazzo. He used muratic acid and a wire brush to clean, which I am now reading should not have been applied. Is there any solution to restoring the tile chips? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
