Hi, I'm intrested in building my own pool since I can't afford the prices these pool guys are charging here. I'm told the city of Palm Desert where I live will help me all the way through it. I have the time & have talked to several contractors for the different type work involved & all want to go for it. I'd like to have it salt water since the water is very hard here & a cleaner that will eliminate a cleaner every week and possibly solar heated since I live in the desert. Please give me some of your expert advice.
