I have replaced my water heater twice in the last 6 years. My home is 17 yrs old and I replaced the original when I first moved in. Then I had to replace it over this past winter because of poor installation. I have two baths, laundry, dishwasher, and three people living in the house and I have a 40 gallon and it works perfect.
