Hi,
When I turn my outside faucet on the water leaks and runs down the side of the house. There is somthing that resembles "putty' that is surrounding the area where the pipe enters the house; the water leaks from this area.
When the garden hose is atatched, there is little or no water pressure to push the water down the hose; the water is backflowing into the basement behind the insulation on the walls.
Could there be a simple solution to this problem or is it time to call a plumber?
Thank you!
