I, too, have stains in my new granite countertop. I was told, by the dealer, that there are no guaranties, especially, with light granite. For a stain, found early, you can use a mixture of clorox and baking soda, covered with a good plastic wrap, overnight, and for a stain which is more set in, a commercial poultice. They gave me some poultice, after they applied a treatment to a late discovered oit stain. I'm still waiting for it to work. This will be my second try.
