I had pretty much the same thing happen with my 3 month old FL back in March. The first time I walked in on standing water and the second I walked in on the door still locked at the top, but water flowing out the lower part of the door. I had to stop the machine and put it on spin cycle to get the water out of the machine. My mud room is connected to my kitchen that has wood floors and it warped them (3 month old house). It was "fixed" between floods. Maytag told me that the water level was supposed to stay below the bottom of the door, and finally after working our way up the chain with 3 phone calls I got a new Neptune TL as a replacement, but it was a real argument. The TL works fine, but I won't buy Maytag again, more because of the "Customer Service" than the machines.
