Bought a 100 year old house 6 mos ago... I have been a Bondo queen! Taken old battered doors off hinges, stripped them down, Bondo'd, and I swear they look and feel brand new. Dug out wood rot and used Bondo...etc.. etc.. It is so inexpensive and really helps with my budget! (instead of buying new doors and window sills, etc.)
Why is it, that when you tell people that you used Bondo, they snicker? They don't explain why they are laughing either. Is there a reason I shouldn't be using this product??? Or is it just a bad stigma?
