I have two 8' X 5' balonies that I intend to pour a concrete base floor on them.
I have 3 L-flange or angle iron that were bolted to my ceiling joist and 3/4" plywood
sub-floor decking was placed over them(internal -inside the house), while external 5' of the angle iron stick out from the house. This was initial done to pervent the concrete balconies from break and damaging the window beneath them.
The problem is the L-flange or angle iron are not installed low enough to pour a concrete form around them. There is only a half an inch between the top of the l-flange(angle iron) and the subfloor. Therefore, if concrete form was poured around them at this stage, whenever it rained water who rum into the house.
Please tell how I can fix this problem and pour my concrete aound these angle irons that have been placed to high.
