You offer some of the most insighful posts on the board. I know nothing about this device except what I can piece together on the internet. Ignorance is bliss, at least I dont have one on my service.
I our area the utilities can selectively shut down volunteer customers who are members of the "peak corps". This is done remotely using a similar device on the panel. Califonria is notorious for energy shortages. This device seems to be a customer installed device that prevents triggering a peak load and reducing electirc bills. Its a minor distiction.
Now, if I wanted to harass you......I would.....comment on your thought pauses.....using periods. LOL Thanks Doug, I guess its your turn to pick on me.
