I have a home with VAT throughout that was under carpet but we want ceramic tile. I have heated and scraped small areas in the past, but am concerned about taking up 1000 sq feet of VAT. One of my friends suggested using dry ice to remove the tiles. He swears it works but needs plenty of ventilation. Has anyone tried this?
