Just chalk it up to experience and start over. The metal, paper and mud are cheap compared to a quality job.

Make sure to embed the corner in enough mud to make sure it sticks. Sometimes I even wet the drywall first or use a little extra water in the mix to make sure everything stays wet while I work it. The corner paper with the attached metal works best if it is already cut to length and preformed to match the corner. Get this done before you do any mudding to save yourself some headaches.
