Sorry - another electrical development Posted by AJ-trucker's wife on July 15th, 2004 04:14 AM
This is in the kitchen where the majority of the problems seem to be coming from. It has a ceiling light which is the flouresent, circular tube type. It has two lights, one smaller and inside the other, obviously. When we first moved in, you had to wiggle the switch or keep turning it on and off to get the light to come on. I changed the switch when I had the power off for the disposal. After powering up, the bulbs burnt. Bought new bulbs and installed them.
So now, you turn on the new switch to the new lightbulbs and 2/3's of the time, only the inside light will come on. Checked connections to bulbs and they are all secure.
So guys, trusted mentors, let me have it!!!! I'm ready for it...
Thanks and have a great Bob Villa kind of day!
AJ
