I am trying to add an outlet and control switch to my bedroom. Presently I have a light and switch.
What I would like to do is add a switch to the same box as the one there now and have this new switch control the new outlet. The new outlet will be directly below the switch box so there will not be alot of wiring.
Can I do this? If so I would appreciate any help.
