I began to remove old wallpaper in a bedroom with a steamer, which has worked well up until now. I discovered that the wallpaper was put directly on to the drywall. Now I'm scared to steam for fear of damaging the drywall.
Can I remove the outer layer of the wallpaper with the pattern only since I have to texturize the wall anyway?
Please help.
