We are having new cabinets installed on Monday. And we were going to have the tile laid wall to wall before the cabinet installation. Well the tile guys did not order our tile. Do now they want to come over today and lay the durock. They say that the cabinet guys can just shim the cabinets and that they can complete the floor after the cabinets are installed. Is this OK? Or is it best to have the cabinets shimmed from the subfloor and not have the durock installed until after? Thanks!
