Posted on the site, I believe, was a suggestion to use Volume 40 creme bleach, made by Nexxus, and available at beauty supply shops. I am happy to report that this product, when used to scrub stains, works very well and doesn't damage the floor. It takes patience, though.

What you do is: Use a couple of tablespoons or so on the stain, scrub carefully for three to five minutes. Mop up bleach with dry cloth. Then put on a coat of white vinegar to counteract the bleach, mop up, and let dry. Repeat the treatments until the cloth mopping up the bleach no longer gets black. It works best if you have at least twenty-four hours between treatments.
Then rewax. It works remarkably well!
