Don't let them force you to buy an extended warranty. That's what they teach their customer service people to sell to everyone whose machines are out of warranty. They were going to extend mine for another year for "free". Wow, what a deal. I got them to replace my 3 month old Neptune FL with a Neptune TL. It took being somewhat polite, but firm and not settling. We worked our way up past the first couple of levels of customer service because they can't do anything for you and finally talked to a higher level supervisor who can make decisions. The problem with class action suits is the only one that makes anything on them is the lawyers. This I got from a lawyer friend. He says they really are a waste of time, because nothing really changes and the "winners" end up with only a few dollars and a coupon to purchase more from the offender as part of a settlement. And these always go to settlement. I hope no one thinks Maytag will be forced to refund them their full amount or replace every machine. It won't happen.
