If it looks ok as is, I would caulk it with a color coordinated caulk. I did this for a customer and I used a laminate floor filler, which is a caulk. The idea was to fill the very small gap so it looked finished. Worked fine.
If there is a difference in level, you may want a wood transition piece, but the hardwood would have to be cut back to accommodate it. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
