I have added wainescoating to my family room and the wall outlets now need to be "extended out" to the switch plate. I have tried the extension boxes from Home Depot but they will not work. My boxes measure 2.5" by 1.5". Thinking of just "shimming" the receptacle out. is there a product out there to do it right?
