the unit is an older model that does not have the forward reverse switch on the fan light itself, but on the remote unit. when the original rmeote went on the blink last year, I bought a hampton bay replacement. what I didn't realize was that the new ones don't have a forward/reverse button, so it worked for awhile but now neither the light nor the fan works & it's July in Wash DC ! how do I get int otugh withthe hampton bay company?
