I'm in the process of re-designing my kitchen and was advised that by moving my kitchen sink to a corner placement I would maximize storage capacity. My current layout has a blind corner base cabinet. The problem I'm wrestling with is that I would have to 'close-up' one of the windows on a double brink wall leaving just one other window and a sliding patio door on the same south facing wall. Are there any negative aspects of placing a kitchen sink in the corner of a 'L' shaped kitchen? I wonder whether the costs involved in re-routing the water and gas plumbing plus the brickwork is worth it. I would welcome any thoughts on the matter
