get rid of the dog? to repair the screen, you will need to replace the plastic mesh. it is available at hardware and home center stores. you will also need a spline tool. remove the screen, remove the plastic spline holding the screening in the frame. place the new screening over the frame and use the spline tool to press the spline into the slot.
