We have built-in bookcases on the wall with the fireplace in our family room. We would like to make them into display cabinets possibly with glass door but not a must. They are currently white and so is the mantle. I would like to change the color to something more appealing but won't overshadow my collectibles to be place there. Any ideas about painting?
