Hi All,

Recent experience would seem to indicate that superglue can be removed from eyeglasses with Acetone-based nail polish remover, Q-tips, and a fair amount of elbow grease. I would recommend that one should first apply a very small amount of nail polish remover to a Q-tip and apply this tiny bit to the edge of the lens to see if it fogs the plastic or not. Clearly if the nair polish eats away at the plastic lense, you're out of luck with this solution, but I had no problems with the polycarbonate lenses my wife has in her eyewear. This approach cleaned her lenses no problem, although I can't say if it did or didn't damage any of the protective coatings on the lense. Given the alternative of buying new glasses, this was well worth the try.
