How much stone???

I am doing a french drain in front of a retaining wall. The trench I am digging is 80 feet long by 1 foot wide by 1 foot deep. I will be using a 4 in diameter pipe in the French drain and filling the hole up with stone to within two inches of the top because the remaining two inches will be filled with topsoil so that I can plant grass. My questions is how many tons of stone do I need to fill the trench and what kind of stone should I use.
