What is a common neutral? How does this change the way house wiring is worked on?
Doug you recently posted with regard to outlet stab-in connections:
"And to further complicate things some circuits use a common neutral....multi-wire.......When these lose a neutral due to the back-stabbed connections.......the circuit can energize to 240Volts"
Please help me understand what this means.
