well the time honored method of fishing the wire may work in that fir-down......

You may have more luck accessing the joist bay.......and running the wire within the ceiling joists

of course the trick is the wall to ceiling connection......

You'll need an access hole from either side of the wall to get into the studbay and ceiling joists bay......
