MAYTAG SELLS HUNDREDS OF THESE UNITS A DAY.NOT EVERYONE HAS THE PROBLEMS THAT MOST OF YOU HAVE.SORRY YOU DONT WANT TO READ THE MANUAL,BUT NOT OPERATING THE UNIT PROPERLY CAN RESULT IN SERVICE ISSUES.I AM A SERVICE TECH(NOT JUST FOR MAYTAG)I WORK ON EVERYTHING,AND MOST OF THE TIME ITS CUSTOMER EDUCATION.
