Yes, B&D make DeWalt. It is their way of the "industrial" tool line. My uncle goes by B&D but take it from me that these tools hardly live up to competition, so they went into DeWalt tools. Don't get me wrong that these tools are good, but I believe that you can get more rpm's for you buck if you shop wisely. I have had over 10 years experience in Porter Cable Tools and I believe these wood working tools are in the top of the class in the market. Just look at the data to support my theroy.
