I just recently put down pine flooring in my parents house. We used no. 2 t&g yellow pine siding. We rolled out 30 lbs tar paper and laid the wood on that. Each plank was nailed though the tounge with a hardwood floor nailer (Bostich) and face nailed at the walls. Looks great.
